JREM 555 Seminar In Technology and Economics of Media and Information Systems

(3 Credit Hours) xamines how economics and technology shape development and operations of media and information systems. Focus on industry structures, market definitions, and the impacts of emerging completion. Implications of emerging technologies on costs, market definitions, and supply and demand characteristics. Discussion of emerging/new media and implications on existing systems. Comparison of traditional and emerging industries, markets, and models.
