Six students from Tennessee's School of Journalism and Electronic Media took a trip down to Orange Beach, Alabama on Thursday, November 10th to attend and report on the World Food Championship. The four-day event is "the largest competition in food sport," according to its website. Competitors enter for a chance to win a share of $300,000 in prize money. The overall winner of the World Food Championship walks away with $100,000.

The students, Lauren Batson, Brianna Bivens, Danielle Clark, Sydney Gilliam, Natalie Ward and Brock Zych, came to the event accompanied by UTK professors Rob Heller and Nick Geidner with the intention of covering the event primarily using photo and video storytelling.
