JEM Student Accepted to News21

Junior journalism student Taylor Gilmore was accepted to participate in the prestigious Carnegie-Knight News21 program at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University.  Gilmore, along with 21 other students, will be complete a spring semester News21 seminar and then travel to Arizona State University this summer for a 10-week long fellowship program.  Students in the program will learn about and participate in investigative reporting assignments. The topic for this year’s program will be voter access and participation in a national election year. 

Gilmore explains why she is so excited to take part in this amazing opportunity.
